History

Formed in 2002, Sanitarius is a multi-influenced metal band out of the New York City area. The band continues to push the boundaries of the metal genre by mixing everything from thrash to neo-classical. This fusion has been described as a lethal and precise juggernaut of raw energy. With the bludgeoning feet and driving beats of Dave Cordero and the accompanying low end foundation of bassist Stewart Ustick, Sanitarius has developed a solid yet ferocious rhythm section. The dual guitar sound of Robbie Padovano and Rob Quartararo has been described as a ripping and shredding surgical strike, further accentuated by the intense vocals of Rob Quartararo. The debut of Sanitarius' EP “Eyes to The Soul” (released February 2007) quickly garnered the attention of New York City and beyond. This devastating first strike was produced by Billy Graziadei of Biohazard/Suicide City and only scratches the surface of the bands potential. This EP has been met with amazing reviews nationally and internationally. Constantly writing, this enthusiastic band has no plans on letting up. In the words of Singer/Guitarist Rob Quartararo, "It's a family first and foremost; we plan on living and enjoying what we do for a long time. This past year has been a very promising year for us and we have no plans of slowing down! The do or die attitude that got the band here today is what is going to carry us into the future!"
